Benoît Pagotto, co-founder of RTFKT and a pivotal figure in the NFT and crypto communities, has died at 41. His sudden passing has drawn widespread tributes, highlighting his role in bridging fashion, gaming, and blockchain culture.

Pagotto was instrumental in building RTFKT into one of Web3's most influential creative brands before its acquisition by Nike in 2021. Philippe Rodriguez of Avolta Partners, which advised on the deal, described him as "super creative, discreet, and humble"—a visionary who believed beauty could change the world.

Fellow RTFKT co-founder Steven Vasilev memorialized Pagotto on X, noting his legacy WOULD "live on forever." Former CTO Samuel Cardillo recalled his fearless honesty and genius, joking he might "respawn as ravenous." The crypto and fashion worlds mourn a leader who redefined digital identity.
